It is official, an Arctic “weather event” is on its way to Atlanta; finally all of this cold air is going to produce a little winter precipitation, or at least that is what the newscasters are getting everybody amped up for. Today was get out of town day, and we woke up to a lot of lake effect snow coming off Lake Michigan. While it did make it for a kind of crumby travel day, it made for an excellent cross country skiing day.
