proto|mondo is the website of Rusty Smith.

proto – first in time, earliest, original.
mondo – 1. [Japanese. f. mon (asking) + do (answering.] An instructional technique consisting of a rapid dialogue of questions and answers between a teacher and a student. 2. [sl.] of the largest size or magnitude.

proto|mondo has been on and off line in various forms since 2001. In 2005  I switched the old html site over to php, and shortly after that directly into a blog format using wordpress. About the same time I accidentally began managing the site for the Auburn University School of Architecture as well as for the College of Architecture Design and Construction. Due to time constraints,  proto|mondo went pretty fallow during that time, and ultimately I trashed the whole thing.

This is a fresh start. We will see how it goes.
